The first speech of JF Keneddy at Rice university in 1962 when he set the moon as the objective to reach before the end of the decade competing against the Russians. I find it inspiring for what it represented at the time it was said.
In the second speech is from Neil Degrasse, astrophysicist speaking to the senate about how politics can make a difference to set the priorities so that the US has a Space Programe and keeps the drive and ambition to desire something that seems impossible

There's always choices. People sometimes forget about it, and I can include myself in that group.
The funny thing is that people can drive themselves to the limit against their own will, just because they are either not aware of the power to decide or maybe for other reasons (fear, respect, tradition)...
A good example for me of this is the situation of young people in countries like Spain or Greece, where they are struggling to find a job (50% unemployment for youngs<25yrs in Spain) which will most likely not be the one they aim to. So, make a change because you can, if you want.
Borussia Dortmund ist die Deutscher Meister.
Dortmund hat letzte Woche FC Bayern gewonnen!!! und dazu hat sehr wahrscheinlich auch die Deutscher Meisterschaft gewonnen.
Es gefällt mir sehr wie die Bundesliga funktioniert: es ist ein geöffnet Meisterschaft, es gibt verschiedene Teams mit Möglichkeiten die Bundesliga zu gewinnen, es ist nicht teuer, es gibt immer viele Leute in Stadions überall in Deutschland...
Es freut mich sehr das BvB ist wieder die neue Meister... ich wohne in München und normalerweise man würde sich fragen, warum bist du nicht für FC Bayern? und ich sage... warum soll ich? BvB hat mir gefallen seit ich Sahin gesehen habe, dann kam Götze... und dann die Fans... Tolle Mannschaft (BvB - Echte Liebe)

Siempre he tenido la impresión que cuando las naciones (o mejor dicho sus representantes) se reúnen dejar entrever de manera sibilina (y en ocasiones no tanta); el estatus del país en un marco internacional; su relaciones (amigables o tensas) con otros estados; el respeto o reconocimiento...
Y de todos es sabido que la EEUU es la superpotencia por excelencia, por lo cual la imagen en esta noticia me parece tan natural (debido a que las naciones de latino américa hablan en su mayoría español) como singular, pues es totalmente aceptado que el inglés es el idioma que habla el mundo. Pero, ciertamente las Américas hablan español.

Aquesta és la idea que em ve al cap quan vaig veure per primer cop la foto del rei d'Spain amb un elefant assassinat de fons.
A les xarxes social hi hauran piulades, la gent farà molt de soroll els propers dies, i probablement serà el tema de conversa pels romàntics de la república durant més temps, però indubtablement (al meu parer) això és un tema que s'oblidarà i deixarà pas a la següent polèmica d'actualitat.
Estem força acostumats a no fer res fins i tot quant és molt evident que hi ha injustícies o si més no a callar davant d'un sistema on encara hi ha gent que rep diners dels impostos de la 'plebe' (por la gracia del Señor). En fi, això referma la meva idea de que malgrat evolucionem en milers de coses les classes persistiran...

Dreaming (25 March - 6 April 2012)
I rarely dream when I sleep.
However, there are times when I dream. And I believe they are not random.
I believe that some circumstances/dates/people/feelings stirr up my head in a way that I am not able to put together when I am awake. Then, in dreams some things although unrealistic make more sense.
Ostern in Bayern/Deutschland ist irgendwie etwas anderes als in Katalonien/Spanien. Ich bin nicht gewohnt um etwas besonderes in Ostern außer Urlaub und Familientreffen. Hier ist traditionell die Osterei (aus Schokolade oder Marzipan). Deutsche kinder (und einige Erwachsene) glauben dass wenn Sie gutes Benehmen haben, die "Osterhase" wird Bunte Eier überall zu Heim verstecken. Ganz ganz Lustig!!! :D
En ocasiones nos quejamos del trabajo...de aquello que tenemos pendiente, de como proseguir ante la duda, de como acabar en los deadlines...
Sin embargo, no tan a menudo nos alegramos de tener trabajo, de tener horas para resolver esas dudas, para lidiar con esas tareas, para llegar a esos deadlines a tiempo...
Yo, hoy celebro el trabajo que tengo por delante, el desafío de encarar un problema, de plantear diferentes vías e ingeniármelas para decidirme por una solución e implementarla, de aceptar la duda sobre su idoneidad y mejorarla ... para recorrer ese bucle sin perder la ilusión, el empuje o la pasión por lo que hago....
M'hagués agradat tornar a Bcn aquests dies.
Les costums i els rituals no apareixen del no res.
Es més fàci trobar-li el sentit, donar-li valor als ritual i tradicions que porten temps en la teva vida.
Tinc la sensació que no em trobo realment de vacances si no torno a "casa". Per sort, la música ajuda a trobar les vacances...

Tu cuerpo es mucho más inteligente de lo que imaginas. Es inteligente y es sincero.
Es inteligente porque se deshace de aquello que no necesita, te protege contra aquello que te daña y te da las pistas para saber que es lo que necesita.
Es sincero porque cuando algo no funciona no te engaña. Reacciona y te envía síntomas de que algo no funciona bien y según su intensidad te hace saber (o no) que necesitas tomar medidas para volver a la normalidad.
El cos envia senyals que no són només físiques, sinò tambe d'altres tipus. Al sentir una cançó, al llegir un llibre, al conversar amb una persona o veure una pel·lícula ...d'una forma contínua cada input d'informació és una possibilitat d'un nou intercanvi... Me n'adono que trobo faltar alguns dels intercanvis en el meu dia a dia...
Letze Woche bin ich Krank gewesen. Ich habe Angina gehabt. Ich habe Zeit um vielen Dingen langsamer zu nehmen. Wenn alles in dein Leber fährt schnell, man hat nicht Zeit damit die genau Wert von viele kleine Sachen zu erkennen: Ein langsames Frühstück, ein Sonnige Tag draußen genießen, ein Hobby aufholen...

Freitag war Nockherberg. Noch andere Bierfest wo die Leute in München lassen sich gehen... machen alles weg für eine Weile und immer mit eine Maß in die Hände. Für mich, das ist am besten Zeit gekommen... nach fast ein Monat von lernen... Aber nichts bleibt für immer, und ich glaube es ist gut die Übergänge feiern... Und feiern immer wenn die Wechsel ist erfolgreich und verdient!

Look me in the eye. People is often afraid to look at other's people. There are many things one can guess or understand just looking at one another that can not be transmitted with word. Schnee. Es hat diese Woche wieder geschneit. Diese war bis jetzt ein ungewöhnliche Winter in Deutschland in Vergleichung mit die vergangene Jahre. Nicht so kalt, fast keine Schnee aber diese letzte Tage war ganz das gegenteil: Wind, Schnee und Regen... Die 3 Worte das ich diese Woche gelernt habe sind:

Crec que la millor manera de veure com d'important es copsar els detalls que desprenen, que deixan anar altres persones que fan allò que les fa felices, fer-ho en allò que creen, en allò del que parlen, o tan sols en la simple convivència ... com en aquest video

They do because a new year represents a change, some point that any of us can acknowledge and identify as a start (or an end), some point that any of us can look back to remember objectives, to recall goals and to set up one's mind in a certain direction.
Morgen, fange ich wieder Arbeit an. Eine Vollzeit Arbeitswoche ist eine große Herausforderung nach diese Lange Urlaub. Es ist aber nicht. Ich bin ehrlich vorbereitet um wieder in Arbeit zu leisten weil ich diese Zeit ausgerührt habe. Manchmal ist es aber schwierig anderen zeigen die Verpflichtung man hat mit eine Bestimmte Vorhaben.
Un año más ha pasado ya (o un año menos queda) y esta vez quise dejar por escrito alguna de las ideas que pasaron por mi cabeza en las últimas horas de Nochevieja. Escribir las cosas creo que en ocasiones hace una gran diferencia. Dígamos que pesonalmente lo veo como el paso intermedio entre ser una simple idea o deseo y convertirse en una realidad. Por eso, los pasos intermedios a aquello que quiero conseguir ahora estan en un proceso intermedio antes de llegar a ser realidades. Como decía Nach en una canción... mis sueños son mentiras que algún día dejarán de serlo...

Sylvester in München. Diese ist schon die 2. Jahr das ich in München in Sylvester gewesen bin. Ich habe Feuerwerk in die Englischer Garten gesehen, eine Farbe-fest in Münchner himmel, die Freudigkeit des Leute als sie ihren Augen haben dazu geführt, die Emotion eine Rakete zu branden und eine Wiederholung eines komplett anderes Ritual um die Neues Jahr zu Willkommen.

Salzburg and YGT application (12 Des - 18 Des)

Ahir vaig passar el dia a Salzburg. Va ser un dia fred, un dia diferent, un dia especial, un dia on vaig fer coses noves, vaig compartir amb gent que no coneixia, un dia on vaig descobrir una nova ciutat (una miqueta almenys)... un dia que podria utilitzar molts adjectius per descriure... pero que potser em va fer sentir més aviat com un sentiment general a un adjectiu precis per descriure... i es un dia que recordare... perque vaig decidir donar un pas i fer el day-off trip... I me n'alegro d'aquesta decisió.
Salzburg ist eine kleiner aber schön Stadt. Es sieht wie die typische Märchenstadt. Ich habe diese Gefühle gehabt das ganze Zeit ich dort gewesen bin. Ich würde sagen 3 sind die sehenwurdigkeiten/Höhepünkte:
- Mozart, aber nur nicht die Geburthaus sondern auch viele Kaffee oder Kneipen wo er etwas erledigte. Ich glaube die Leute aus Österreich wissen sehr gut wie profitieren von die Musikgenie.
- Schloss Mirabell, es ist aber beeindruckend die Ansicht des Schloss. Man kann es gut sehen vor fast woanders in die Stadt... Ich fühle mich wie ein Diener des Kaiser/König...
- Einfach die Stadt, insbesondere fall es schneit. Ich verstehe jetzt warum ist die historische Zentrum der Stadt in der Liste des Weltkulturerbes der UNESCO.
I applied to a YGT position. Be part of ESA should be one of the challenges of (in my opinion) any European engineer who works in space should have in his/her list of objectives. I think the mere fact of be part of something such meaningful and important organization as the ESA gives not only prestige and experience but also personal realization is one of the things one space engineer cannot miss in life.
I often hear that the European Union is a simple union of interests to have a common market, to sell and buy, to make economy move, to provide buying power to nations that are not so competitive or prepared for todays competitive reality... a but there, in that description it is completely deposed what makes possible this... the base, the meaning for that ... because you need the right partners,people, countries to work with if you want to be successful... and that is why Europe is the way it is...
I think that ESA may be one of the counterexamples for that trend of self-interest is in control of everyone nowadays, that ESA conveys sth else that balance of interest and needs between nations but a will to build sth together because it will be integrating when everyone in involved, enhanced when everyone chips in with their expertise and more meaningful and uniting.
Diciembre es uno de los meses en que mas palabras han poblado mi calendario: meetings, trips, deadlines, changes... súpongo que es lo lógico cuando se cierra una etapa o un anyo en este caso. Pero esta semana para mi ha sido poner el pie en el proximo capitulo mas que cerrar el actual, porque estan en marcha proyectos, vislumbro posibilidades que me emocionan con tan sólo pensar en lo que pueden llegar a ser y por el estado tan incipiente en el que se encuentran... ese tipo de cosas sin duda significan para mi un riesgo que vale la pena tomar y que me llena de una energia que no se puede pedir ni forzar. Me gusta!

No me llames iluso porque tenga una ilusión (05-11 Des)
A veces me pregunto porque ciertos temas son tan recurrentes a la hora de intentar expresar lo que pienso o como me siento: Sueños e ilusiones, pasiones, algunas certezas y dudas que me acompañan, algunos desencantos pero también logros... Me encanta encontrar videos como el anterior que sin una palabra son capaces de transmitir una idea... para mí es la ilusión de llegar más allá de donde tus limitaciones te dejan... y en este caso concreto... conocer el mundo y las sensaciones que vendrán más allá de la limitación de tu habitación, de ser un muñeco inanimado... porque con imaginación y constancia, si se busca, se encuentra la manera de conseguir hacer las ilusiones posibles y convertir los sueños en realidad.
Supongo que porque cada uno se construye de cierto modo a sí mismo basándose en aquello que considera imprescindible. Algunas personas toman una persona como referencia, otras buscan un objetivo confiando en sus capacidades, muchas combinan tener un objetivo con aprender de aquellas personas que siguen un camino parecido....
Al meu parer, la grandesa de tenir il·lusions es poder compartir-les. I la grandesa al compartir-les es que no hi forma de conèixer del cert lo que provoca una il·lusió en una persona que no ets tu mateix. És un joc, un risc, una mà de poker amb la decideixes anar amb tot, es obrir la porta de casa quan sents que truquen però no esperes visita, es agafar un avió amb destí desconegut quan tot just has aterrat... Pot ser tot pot ser no res, i a més cal afegir a no saber del cert qué és, a aspirar a intuir quin nivell genera una il·lusió ... i quan arribes a aquest punt... cal ser valent i crèixer una altra dimensió per buscar el complement, el valor afegit, el tret diferencial que li dona cada persona... quan expressa de la seva manera les seves il·lusions...
Gestern war ein volles Sportlisch Tag. Morgen früh bin ich in ZHS gewesen und Unihockey gespielt. Meinen Beinen tut weh gerad (aua). Dannach, kam fitness studio... und noch amb aben habe ich in die Uni noch ein "Clásico" angeschaut. Dieses mal auf Deutsch und mit geringer culés als merengues. Das war sowieso voll Genuss. Und ich habe mich gefreut ich könnte mit Albert und Tarek die Bará Töre in Bernabeu zelebrieren.
To be honest, the article I am writing today was motivated after watching a program dealing with the current problem in spanish youth of unemployment and lack of commitment to be useful in society. But, different to the usual disappointment in great part of the youth that I have there was also hope... on being able to find motivation and illusion. Not everyone has the same skills, the same persistance or endurance when trying to accomplish something... but sth that makes whatever your objective is easier is having illusion and be able to never loose sight/track of what is it that makes you want and desire to reach your objectives... be able to relish every step leading to it... not only for what it means for people around you but for what it means to your effort & yourself.

Projects (28 Nov - 04 Des)
Many of the open questions that start arising on previous weeks are now somewhat more concrete, some others are not yet. What should I do for my thesis? Should I work in this project or in the other one? Will that person get back to me?
I guess this is inevitable. The speed of things, projects... is often something which one can not control, but managing success and failure, the right moment and the waiting time, passion and patience, skill and perseverance is a great undergoing lesson.
Heute, ich bin ganz überrascht nach die Bombenfund in Koblenz. Das ist eine gute Beispiel das manchmal es gibt Dinge das können nicht vergessen sein. Können und müssen. Fast 2 Tonnen von eine Luftmine aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg von Britische und die Amerikaner. 45000 Menschen in Koblenz müssen ihre Wohnungen verlassen, Leute in die Altenheime sogar eine Gefängnis damit die Bombe deaktiviert würde. Anders als viele Menschen, Ich finde die Nachricht ganz besondere nicht nur weil viele Störungen in Koblenz passieren werden aber auch weil das ist eine gute Erinnerung von etwas das wir vermeiden sollen.
Dime con quien trabajas... y te diré las oportunidades que tienes de tener éxito. Este es uno de los temas que que tal vez no daba tanta importancia pero que he aprendido a valorar con el tiempo. Ojos abiertos, detalles y no olvidar las prioridades y ser consciente de las propias capacidades es un buena mezcla para acertar a la hora de tomar decisiones, proyectos ... empezando por las preguntas que me hago al inicio de esta entrada.
30 minuts és, al meu parer, un dels millors programes de la història de la televisió. Crec que el format, el tractament de la informació i la qualitat i senzillesa per presentar la informació el fan un dels meus favorits diumenge a la nit. Avui fan "el menjar que llencem". Totalment recomanable en temps de crisi com aquest, fer una anàlisi sobre el modus operandi d'algunes grans superficies i superemercats a França.

Hablá-"me" (21 - 27 Nov)
Qué gran satisfacción es poder comunicarse con gente de diferentes paises en diferentes idiomas.
Qué lujo poder hablar en español y poder aprender expresiones que no tienen sentido ni porqué en otros paises, ver que la lengua es algo vivo que evoluciona y que de alguna forma nos une conservando nuestras diferencias de costumbres y procedencia. Qué placer poder saber cada día un poco más cómo es el pueblo alemán y ser capaz de conocer el idioma en Alemania, entenderlo y comunicarme usándolo me encanta. Cada día que pasa me doy cuenta de ello, y aquellas cosas que aprecias cada día las conviene valorar.
Crec que el lloc on vius et transforma com a persona.
Sempre he sentit que els nens petits són com esponges, capaços d'aprendre molt ràpid idiomes, imitar comportaments i trobar el plaer en les petites coses que fan. Crec que quan marxes a un altre pais, aquest nen que portem a dins surt sovint de passeig. Es pregunta perquè fan això aquí, quin sentit té i perquè no es fa de la mateixa manera a la que estic acostumat... totes aquestes preguntes et canvien perquè representen una novetat, i no només pel fet de ser una novetat, perquè una novetat pot ser passagera, sino perquè formen part del teu dia a dia i la teva vida.

Wenn man in Ausland lebt, man braucht Zeit um die soziale Regeln und die Leute zu verstehen. Sprache, Kultur, Beziehungen, Freundschaft sind unterschiedlich ... und alle kommt gemischt mit dem Leute. Es ist eine Herausforderung und auch ein Spiel ... Ich glaube dass am besten Dingen kommen nach eine gute Kombination, aber man braucht Zeit um die richtige Zutaten in die genau Menge zu finden. Und dass mach spaß auch!!!
Hoy hay elecciones en España.
Lo cierto es que debe ser el momento de mi vida en el que la política menos me importa. Supongo como a muchos, pero que se puede esperar de un sistema "irreal" en el que las palabras de políticos suenan a variantes entre "palo" y "zanahoria" para conseguir que se siga moviendo el conejo... un circo en el que la mayoría compran su entrada o actúan sin red desconociendo quiénes son los que realmente dirigen el "espectáculo". En fin, habrá que mantener cierta esperanza, que es lo último que se pierde.
Qué estaria fent ara si fos a Barcelona?
Aquesta ha estat una pregunta que m'he fet força vegades des que vaig arribar a Munic. Però no ara! Ja no! No es quelcom que vingui al meu cap últimament. I potser aquest sentiment va començar a ser evident després del meu últim viatge a Barcelona. Es bo sentir-se d'allà on un viu, i Munic i Alemanya estan guanyant terreny.

Pretérito imperfecto, presente efervescente, futuro condicional (31 Oct - 6 Nov)
Dieses Wochenende habe ich mich mit Freunden getroffen beides Freitag und Samstag Abend. Das ist komisch in mein Leben. Das passiert nicht regelmäßig, und war irgendwie zufällig.
Freitag waren wir überrascht mit eine Party in TUM audimax, und Samstag nach ein erfolgreich arbeit Abend in Uni, eine Verlängerung mit ein Bier war am beste Plan.
Por qué nos planteamos nuestro éxito? Por qué creamos en nuestra cabeza ideas sobre donde y como debería ser nuestra vida?
Muchas veces es difícil convivir con ciertos de estos desafíos. Pero la presencia de estas metas también infunde energía, pasión y voluntad para mejorar.
Las armas de doble filo son peligrosas pero poderosas si saben ser bien utilizadas.
Moltes de les converses de bar, d'aquelles que sorgeixen sense objectiu i que acaben sense conclusión són de vegades més necessaries de lo que semblen. Acostumats cada dia més a sentir percentatges, puntuacions en escales, calificacions i numeros, a quantificar les perdues i benerificis, a valorar amb un regle i comparar amb un "chart" allò que fem i la qualitat del resultat... aquestes converses són una reivindicació que no hi ha escales per les persones i els sentiments que conviuen amb nosaltres. No hi ha mesura per saber que es bo i es dolent perque un error pot ser una oportunitat per trobar allò que necessites i que amb un encert potser mai podras trobar.
